Moroccan craft industry: Leather
The craft industry of leather is one of the craft industries most important in Morocco. Each city has its own production of leather. Thus in Fès and Marrakech, one can see whole districts of tanneries. The leather dealers manufacture sandals, satchels and point shoes, or balgha, in goat or sheepskin.
